Assign an App to Unset Icons

To assign an app, you need to change its icon in Globals then assign the corresponding app shortcut in the Shortcuts tab.

  1. In KLWP, navigate to Globals > Icons. Scroll down to find Page1 and Page2 icon folders respectively.

    <aside> <img src="/icons/info-alternate_yellow.svg" alt="/icons/info-alternate_yellow.svg" width="40px" /> Within the Icons global folder, you can enable safe global to replace app labels with numbers so you can reference them easily while assigning icons.

  2. Open Page1 and tap app1. In the file picker, open the sidebar and select your preferred icon pack from the list.

  3. Search for your desired icon and select it.

  4. You icon will now be assigned! Now add a label to your icon in its respective label number underneath it (e.g label1 is for app1 and so on.)

Assign a Shortcut

Now its time to assign your icon a shortcut so it opens your desired app.

  1. Go into the shortcuts tab and find your corresponding app number. For example, since we assigned icon for app1 , we will assign its shortcut to the simply numbered 1 .
  2. Tap it and find your desired app. Select it to assign it.
  3. Save changes and test on your home screen!
